We adore this first-year-of-release French film poster for 1962 classic Lawrence of Arabia. Georges Kerfyser's design looks spectacular on the scale of this French Double Grande. A truly stunning and very rare poster.
Lawrence of Arabia, undoubtedly one of the most celebrated epics in the history of cinema, starred Peter O'Toole, Alec Guinness and Anthony Quinn. It tells the story of T.E. Lawrence, the English officer who successfully united and led the diverse, often warring, Arab tribes during World War I in order to fight the Turks.
Nominated for ten Oscars in 1963 and winning seven including Best Picture and Best Director. It also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture – Drama and the BAFTA Awards for Best Film and Outstanding British Film.
This original vintage movie poster is sized an impressive 62 3/4 x 92 inches and will be sent rolled (unframed).
