Mao Zedong, life size embroidered parade banner dated 1969

About the Item

A graphically bold, lifesize embroidered textile depicting Moa Zedong grasping a symbolic red umbrella and shoulder satchel. The banner was created as a potent visual tool in announcing chairman Mao's visit along a parade route to a specified province in China. The text on the banner reads both the date of 1969 and the province in which chairman Mao was to visit. The textile is ready for frame selection by purchaser. Located in Laguna Beach, Calif.
