One of our favourite new additions. Wonderful original French vintage Maurin Quina alcohol poster from 1906. Stunning imagery.
The devilish pixie was designed in 1906 by Leonetto Cappiello - often called 'the father of modern advertising' because of his innovation in poster design. Perhaps Cappiello's most famous poster with the infamous green fairy imagery commonly associated with absinthe. Maurin Quina (Maurin is the brand name and Quina is the type of alcohol) went out of production the year this poster was printed and only recently became re-introduced on the French market.
This vintage poster is sized 47 X 63 inches and in Rolled Linen-Backed Excellent Condition. It will be sent rolled (unframed).
