About the Item
Mid-20th century double sided English Fairground Sign
We are proud to offer a single double-sided hand painted mid-20th century English fairground sign. We currently have a rare collection of 4 signs in stock, however this sale is for a single sign only. Each sign is individually hand painted, with its original metal hanging hooks still in place. A brilliant subject matter “The Ball Game” that would add a bit of fairground fun to any cool interior space.
Dimensions in inches: H 24” x W 24” x D 0.4”
Age: 1950
Origin: England
This item is completely solid in structure and form, aged, faded surface. The item is obviously aged and well used, some crisps to the edges of the sign and light rust on the metal handing hooks and chain. The supporting sign chain that connects both hinges is supplied but the single hanging chain (shown in the photos is not supplied as part of this sale). its strongly suggested to review all close-up photos and propose questions before purchasing to avoid any disappointment. This item does not stand alone.
