About the Item
Edward Burne Jones for Morris & Co, designed in 1861-1862. A rare hand-painted tile depicting Chaucer's Legend of Good Wimmen. The Fiberite packing we found inside the frame probably dates back to the mid-1920s or early 1930s when it was likely to have had this frame made for it to conceal the missing corner.
