About the Item
This authentic natural fossil display is a very nice and uncommon piece, by its shape and arrangement.
The big one is a Gigantopecten Restitutensis, and the little one is a Chlamys.
These species were alive around 20 millions years ago.
They are found in Lacoste (Lubéron area) in the south of France.
It is framed in grey and white lacquered wood. The grey background highlights the white shells, meanwhile the border makes a reminding of it.
