A beautiful pair of late Georgian era white statuary marble plaques carved with neoclassical pitchers and laurel wreaths, originally used as corner blocks for an English Georgian fireplace. Dating to circa 1800, these plaques are over 220 years old and are in beautiful condition for their age, the statuary marble still crisp and white in colour, showcasing the carving in great detail. Styled together or individually, these antique neoclassical tablets are sophisticated decorative pieces for an interior, showcasing the excellent craftsmanship of 1800s England.
