About the Item
Signed Geraldine Valentini and dated 1979. Pen and ink Post-Modern drawing on paper. Modernist rendition of two sprawling limb trees. Labor intensive and intricately hand drawn work on paper.
Framed in a silver gilt wood molding with a linen matte and a silver wood fillet. The piece has not been viewed out of the frame. There is some overall wear to the gilt surface with red bole showing through. No major visible issues to the work on paper. Minor staining along the edge (see photo). The linen matte has some stains. Not archivally matted or counted. Some fading and darkening of the paper surface.
Approximate overall dimensions with the frame are 3" deep x 26" wide x 34" high. The approximate sight dimensions are 18.75" wide x 26.75" high.
