19th Century British Merchant Steamship Painting
About the Item
Charming 19th Century nautical painting of a British merchant steamship at sea. In the painting, the Red Ensign flag or "Red Duster" can be seen flying on the back of the boat along with the St. Alban's Cross- Mercia flag of the English Midlands. The details of this piece are incredible as seen in the tiny figures visable along the ship's promenade. The seascape is framed under glass in a rustic wooden carved frame. It is unsigned and measures 28.5" wide x 19.5" tall.
