A Delightful portrayal of a young lady at 35 years of age, she is leaning on the arm of a chair, wearing a bright red shawl and and holding the ribbons of her bonnet
On the back of the picture there is a pen and ink, provenance that the painting is by Herr Von Gutzenberg and gives details of Mary’s life and marriage and a sketch of her Tomb Stone
The painting has finely executed detail and it is set in a 6”gilt frame
There is evidence of a repair to the frame and it is 52”x 40” across
