20th Century Oil On Canvas Antique Italian Signed Landscape, 1930
About the Item
Great Italian painting from the first half of the 20th century. Oil on canvas artwork, glued on panel, depicting a countryside view with shepherds, sheep and cows of good pictorial quality. Framework adorned with a non-coeval frame, in finely carved and gilded wood and plaster (see photo) with some small drops of colour. Artwork of good luminosity and depth, characterized by pastel shades (see photo). Painting of great size and impact, ideal for placing in a living room or studio, for antique dealers and interior decorators. Painting signed A. Falchetti on the bottom right (see photo) attributable to the painter Alberto Falchetti (1878-1951) lacking authentication. Artwork that has undergone a conservative restoration, color recovery in some points and application on a tablet during the 20th century (see photo). Framework that has a few small scratches / signs of aging at the top right (see photo), overall in a fairly good state of conservation. Sight size H 89 W 130 cm
