A 1956 abstract oil on canvas board painting of a landscape by American artist Raymond Mintz (1925-2008). Presented in a wood frame, the painting depicts three sparse trees upon a parcel of ground. The trees rise from grassy earth and are grounded by a muted sky. The painting is signed "Mintz '56" to the bottom right corner. Born in Clifton, New Jersey, Mintz served in the US military during WWII. After the war, he studied art in the United States and Paris.
