A beautiful portrait of a young boy exquisitely painted oil on canvas, German, attributed to artist August Sohn (1830-1889). The height quality gilt wood frame in shadow box museum style frame under glass. The boy with golden curly locks, sitting on a bed with luxurious linens. The oval frame is encased in the glass and wood shadow box. The overall measurement is 17 inches wide, 15 inches tall, 3 inches deep. The oil painting sight is 9.5 inches wide, 7.5 inches tall. The frame has a slight think age crack, that is stable as pictured.
