About the Item
Beautiful Watercolor painting on paper by the famous Swedish artist Gösta von Hennigs (1866-1941). The painting is called ”Fågeltämjerskan” in Swedish which means ”Bird tamer” in English. Signed and dated 1921 in a very typical 1920s style.
Gösta von Hennigs became a professor at the art school i Stockholm in 1928 and is represented among others at the National Museum in Stockholm, Sweden.
The painting has its original 1921 frame with a signature on the reverse as well as a dedication to a friend.
