About the Item
A Carol Summers 1925- 2016 woodcut on paper in very vivid colors typical of his style which used blurry and bleeding edges in the printing process forming a transparent and dreamy landscape of shapes . This is signed in pencil as an artist proof in 1969 but printed in an edition of 75 on a thin porous type paper with deckled edges . His works are in the collection of the Whitney and in Moma among other museums and galleries.
