Biography
Clemens Briels, born in a large family in Son, wanted to become an artist from an early age.
In 1965 he starts training at the Academy of Industrial Design in Eindhoven with the aim of becoming an artist.
Due to all kinds of circumstances, he ends up in the advertising world. He turns it into a successful art director, but at the age of 45 he decides to definitely opt for artistry.
There is always a story behind the artworks of Clemens Briels, his artworks are small anecdotes from an opposing society.
