About the Item
A watercolour of Canterbury Cathedral and the surrounding area, by the renowned artist Martin Snape.
Martin Snape was born in Gosport, Hampshire in 1899 and attended Burney’s Academy. He became an accomplished painter, particularly of the local area in which he lived, but also the wider area and exhibited several times at the Royal Academy. He died in 1930.
This watercolour has recently been professionally reframed using museum quality anti reflective glass, with up to 70% UV protection.
