George Dergalis 1989 Abstract Painting

Our gallery acquired a number of works from the estate of the late George Dergalis on behalf of his widow. This colorful abstract is signed and dated 1957. Artist framed, the piece bears a label on the back from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Mass. It is titled "Landscape." A quite amazing Soviet era painting from the Leningrad school by Evgeny Mikhailovich Zhavoronkov. It is dated 1989 and titled "Rooster" on the back of the linen canvas. Signed E.M.
