Large abstract colorful work by Henk Munnik (1912-1977) Andries Hendrik (Henk) Munnik (Middelburg, July 30, 1912 – The Hague, 1997) was a Dutch painter, draftsman and book binding designer.He worked in The Hague from 1937 to 1997. He studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in The Hague and was a student of Cees Bolding, Arend Hendriks and Henk Meyer (1884-1970). Henk Munnik was a versatile artist. He painted figuratively – still lifes, nudes, portraits and village views -, but from the end of the 1960s he also made abstract works.
