'The Italian Patio' Original oil on canvas signed by Igor Korotash (b. in The Soviet Union 1957). 24 in. by 30 in. without frame, 28.75 in. x 34.5 in.including frame. Provenance: The estate of art dealers and collectors Rolando and Lisa Anzardo, Florida A view of an Italian Patio with pool, architectural balustrades, urns and lush foliage painted with vibrant colors and bold brushwork evoking associations to the Florida style introduced by architect Addison Mizner. Igor Korotash is a Soviet American artist born in 1957 who paints Impressionist landscapes in oil on canvas. His work is often colorful and features golden trees, flora, architectural elements, and other forms. Korotash studied at Kosiv Art College until 1978, when he began serving in the Soviet Army for two years. He continued to paint and exhibit his work during his service, but eventually became an industrial designer after returning to civilian life. Much of Korotash's original work is contemporary and associated with the Impressionist style.
