This very large and well executed painting on a woven fabric is unsigned and likely done by a European artist in the late 19th century or early 20th century. The painting is done in the Anglo-Indian style depicting several women watching a female dancing on a carpet, presumably at an outdoor bazaar, with a male musician playing a stringed instrument. The painting is highly detailed showing intricate treatments of the subjects and their respective wardrobes, including the jewelry and even the carpet itself.
