Maria Astadjov
Maria Astadjov is a classically trained and brilliantly skilled artist. She is a Bulgarian-born Canadian artist whose works are the result of an on-going process of personal evolution. Following extensive study and the completion of a Masters of Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria, Astadjov traveled throughout Europe until she crossed the Atlantic to settle in Montreal in 1990. She quickly established her successful career in graphic design and contributed to Emmy award-winning animation developed for Cinar, the notable children's series producers of television hits that include Caillou and Arthur.
