About the Item
Marsha Rogow Straus (1944-2008) Former resident of Walnut Creek, CA. Straus was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 7, 1944. She graduated from Brooklyn's Lafayette High School in 1962. Moved to the Bay Area in 1978. Among her many achievements and awards for her artwork, she was in a two-woman show in Pittsburg, California in 2001 with her late beloved friend, Ann Henry of Concord. She also had one of her pieces on display at the famed Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara,
