Stunning oil painting of remarkable size and truly decorative,the painting captures the serene atmosphere of an unspoiled countryside.A river gently crosses the landscape ,an ancient stone bridge stretches over the waters,majestic trees and green meadows surround the river.The author has skillfully captured the tranquility of the scene demonstrating a great ability to bring out the parts in light and those in the shadows,the reflection of the river water was masterfully executed.Textural and dense the author's brushstrokes fully succeeded in conveying a sense of peace and serenity.
