Depicting a young woman in a pink dress seated on a stone garden bench accompanied by a greyhound, while a suitor leans over her shoulder to whisper in her ear, all within a parkland setting with castle beyond, signed lower right Bertram, reverse with mailing label inscribed Shipped by E.D.E.T-Paris, Made in France, 399/3 Galerie Chicago, within a giltwood frame. Plaque Size: 11 3/4" by 9 3/4" Framed Size: 14 1/2" by 12 1/2" Provenance: Estate of Mr. & Mrs. Ruth and Sol Brookner, Chicago and Green Valley, Arizona.
