Outstanding oil on canvas by Anselmo Miguel Nieto, representing a female nude. It was in the genre of portraiture that the painter shone above all others, but it is his portraits of women that made him an exceptional painter. The work represents the naked body of a woman in the foreground, a young woman of sensual beauty who poses for the painter lying on a bed, looking directly at the viewer in an insinuating and somewhat mysterious way, typical of the symbolist current.
