Francois Claver (1918-1961) was a Paris-born artist who studied at the Beaux Arts and went around Europe painting.
His work was evaluated in the Art Fair Magazine "DER KUNSTHANDEL" in July 1957, with a tiny excerpt: "...Fernand Claver, French, born 1918. Paris is his true passion. It is the passionate affection of a full person.... He paints like hundreds, like millions of people who enjoy to paint and want to know...
His firmness is clear in his command of the methods. Lord, he employs no measures with which he is ineffective. He is the real descendant of Impressionism in terms of making music with colors and shapes. The intricacies and impacts lurk about all angles scattered across the photographs. In a nutshell
