Painting oil on canvas, with dimensions of 64 x 50 cm without frame and 73 x 59 with frame, of French form and school depicting a seductive girl of the early 18th century. During the 18th century the portrait is one of the most widespread genres in the wealthiest aristocracy, with a willingness to celebrate themselves in the immediate and in the future in the first place, with the addition of some self-referential details to show their guests their social status and above all their quirks. Fortunately, the end of '600 / beginning' 700 radically changed the concept of portraiture: the characters are no longer arrogantly distant and in almost unnatural plastic poses, they begin to reveal themselves, to show some intimate aspects of their personality, and show themselves eager to explain themselves and reveal themselves to posterity through their passions and their quirks cultivated in their free time.
