About the Item

Painting belonging to what is the current of Romanian abstract expressionism. A "window" is represented where the pictorial film is characterized by a geometric subdivision of the space that alternates monochrome white backgrounds with polychrome spaces dominated mainly by red, white, black and purple, with glimmers of green. A chaotic but balanced whole at the same time, in which the intent of the artist Nutiu is to create a new perspective, developing his personal vision of space and spatial limits - a very dear theme to the Romanian painter on which he will work for several years. The painting in question is signed and dated in the upper right corner. On the back there is a label of the "Galleria de Arta Timisoara" showing the title, the date and the name of the author; on the rear frame there are also various stamps. The canvas is surrounded by perimeter wooden strips fixed to the canvas and colored with white tempera. The painting is also archived at the “Gallery 414”, Munich, Germany and is provided with the archiving card of Dr. Joana Greves. The Condition Report by Dr. Carlotta Dal Santo is also available.
