Vintage Ronald Renmark oil painting on canvas featuring an untouched natural landscape of a lake with a man standing and waving on a john boat / canoe, surrounded by a field of trees, hills and blue sky. From an undisclosed location in Virginia.
Ronald Eastbourne Renmark (American 20th-21st Century) is a romantic realist painter from Richmond Virginia. Born in 1938 Ronnie, as his friends call him, has studied abroad and been in the worlds of interior design, painting, stage sets and landscape design for his entire life. This painting is a fine example of his mature work and is almost photographically realistic while at the same time completely ethereal in nature not meaning to simply capture a moment but to cause a thoughtful contemplative mood within a busy hectic world.
