Over 7 feet tall and 20 feet wide, this colorful acrylic on canvas abstract expressionist painting is by Mexican-born Juan Carlos Macias, who resides in Chicago. Photographs do not do justice to this early work by Macias. Each 88" H x 80" W canvas is stretched over an internal wood frame. The sides are painted black. Measures: 88" H x 240" W. A large, luminous, and captivating 2004 en plein air impressionist oil painting on masonite board in giltwood frame titled “Spring Thaw – Lake Tahoe” by award-winning Northern California landscape artist Silvio Silvestri. Strikingly beautiful and vibrant depiction of a tree-lined, turquoise-toned, snow melt stream in Lake Tahoe, California. Dotted by pops of colorful wildflowers, with a majestic lavender-hued mountain range and bright blue cloud-dappled sky in the distance.
