Sunshine was a known local artist in Woodstock and upstate New York area during 1960s. This abstract painting is of Ashocan Reservoir, located in Ulster County, New York. The reservoir is in the eastern end of the Catskill Park, and is one of several in the region created to provide the City of New York with water. It is the city's deepest reservoir, 190 feet (58 m) deep near the dam at the former site of Bishop Falls.
