$5,000

About

Under the Blanket Project, Naomi Clark creates what she titles Quilt Paintings. She breathes new life into old wool and cotton camping blankets culled from EBay, flea markets and garage sales. Naomi describes her process as “painting with fabric.” Beyond painting the blankets, Naomi uses other processes such as dyeing, cutting, appliquéing, and embroidery to make the Quilt Paintings. Each Quilt Painting is unique.
