About the Item
Released in 1955, "Rebel Without a Cause" is a landmark in cinema. Regarded as one of the greatest and most influential films of all time, the performance of James Dean in his final role and only at top-billing remains one of the most iconic ever. Also starring Natalie Wood, the film was one of the first to be shot in the recently developed Cinemascope.
This stunning and exceptionally rare Italian 4-Foglio design features artwork by Luigi Martinati from the golden age of Italian film poster design. This extra large size design was produced for the 1960 re-release of the film in Italy and is in fantastic condition, backed on museum quality linen to ensure its preservation for the decades to come.
