1967 You Only Live Twice Original Vintage Poster

About the Item

Released in 1967, You Only Live Twice is the fifth outing of Sean Connery as James Bond. One of the absolutely quintessential Bond films, it features the first appearance of Blofeld and was written for the screen by Roald Dahl (loosely based off the Fleming novel of the same name) and was a huge success upon release. This gorgeous poster features artwork from the great Robert McGinnis, known for designing posters such as Breakfast at Tiffany's. Depicting Bond being bathed by multiple women, the poster reads "Sean Connery IS James Bond", and looking at this icon of mid century design, it's hard to disagree. The extra large and extremely rare US Subway sized piece is in mint condition and backed on museum quality linen to ensure its preservation for the decades to come.

Located in Winchester, GB
Casino Royale is a 1967 British-American spy parody film originally produced by Columbia Pictures featuring an ensemble cast. It is loosely based on Ian Fleming's first James Bond novel. The film stars David Niven as the "original" Bond, Sir James Bond 007. Forced out of retirement to investigate the deaths and disappearances of international spies, he soon battles the mysterious Dr. Noah and SMERSH. The film's tagline: "Casino Royale is too much... for one James Bond!" refers to Bond's ruse to mislead SMERSH in which six other agents are pretending to be "James Bond", namely, baccarat master Evelyn Tremble (Peter Sellers); millionaire spy Vesper Lynd (Ursula Andress); Bond's secretary Miss Moneypenny (Barbara Bouchet); Bond's daughter by Mata Hari, Mata Bond (Joanna Pettet); and British agents Coop (Terence Cooper) and The Detainer (Daliah Lavi). This extra large poster is from the original Italian release of the film in 1967. Featuring iconic design by the incredible poster...
