This extremely rare and vibrant poster for "Bullitt" depicts a fantastic image of McQueen in the titular role with a cigarette, and is a treasure from the mid-century, screen printed in small numbers for the original UK release of the film in 1968.
Released in 1968, Peter Yates' action-thriller Bullitt was a critical and commercial smash hit, winning several awards including Academy Awards. One of lead actor Steve McQueens most iconic and imitated roles, Frank Bullitt opitimizes cool. Also featuring the likes of Robert Vaughn and Jacqueline Bisset, the films legacy grows with each passing year, with the car chase through San Francisco regarded as one of the most influential in history.
This rare design is one of the most sought after for the film and from the era and is in great condition.
