1968 Dr. No Original Vintage Poster

About the Item

The first film in the landmark James Bond series, "Dr. No" was released in 1962 and changed the face of film forever. Based on Ian Fleming's sixth book in the series, the film has spawned to date 24 sequels and continues to this day. With iconic artwork from Mitchell Hooks featuring Sean Connery as Bond along with the quintessential Bond girl Ursula Andress, this mid century marvel is one of the rarest and most sought after film posters of all time, particularly in this condition. Accompanying the artwork of Hooks' is the brilliant design by David Chasman reading "The First James Bond Film!". This extremely rare alternative design is from the 1968 re-release of the film and features the supporting characters depicted in black & white rather than colour. This beautiful piece of cinema and poster history is in absolutely mint condition, the UK Quad is backed on museum quality linen to ensure its preservation for the decades to come and with vibrant colour intact.
