1979 Perrier - C'est Fou... Original Vintage Poster
About the Item
This beautiful art deco piece "C'est Fou" for Perrier was designed by the iconic poster and graphic designer Bernard Villemot. Best known for his collaborations with the likes of Orangina, Bally, Air France and of course Perrier, he is known as one of the greatest commercial artists of the 20th century.
Depicting a vibrant and colourful scene of a couple embracing whilst holding Perrier bottles in front of a kaleidoscopic horizon, this 1979 piece is in fantastic mint condition and produced by Perrier in France. This poster is backed on museum quality linen to ensure its preservation for the decades to come.

Bernard Villemot
Villemot, one of the leading graphic designers in France during the post-war period, is regarded as one of France's most talented twentieth-century poster artists. He was the subject of retrospective exhibitions at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs and the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris between 1980 and 2000. Belonging to the movement that moved towards an international graphic style after the Bauhaus and de Stijl, Villemot's advertising clients included Air France, Perrier, Orangina, and Bergasol. His work is characterized by vivid colors, thin outlines, and abstract and organic forms.
