About the Item
Widely regarded as the greatest sequel of all time (certainly one of), The Empire Strikes Back smashed into movie theatres in 1980 and changed blockbuster films and science fiction forever. Following the huge success of the original Star Wars, this sequel, or ultimately 5th chronological film follows Luke, Leia, Han, Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2 as they fight to defeat the Galactic Empire lead by Darth Vader.
This stunning poster is from the original release of the film in 1980. It is one of the rarer and more sought after designs and shapes, being from the UK release and featuring Tom Jung's excellent artwork in a different format to the more widely seen US One-Sheet designs. The rare piece is in fantastic condition, never folded.
