This gorgeous poster "Savignac Chez Citroen" celebrates the collaborations between the great French poster artist Raymond Savignac and French car manufacturer Citroen.
Citroen was founded in 1919 and continues strong to this day. Depicting a man likely to be Savignac himself, the piece features artwork from the iconic poster designer and is backed on museum quality linen to ensure its preservation for the decades to come.

Raymond Savignac
Raymond Savignac was the last of the great Parisian poster artists. He was born on November 6, 1907, in Paris. His work is distinguished by a humorous simplicity. Self-taught, he started designing posters under the direction of Cassandre but met his greatest success with the poster for Yoplait yogurt, which featured the udders of a cow directly supplying the "milk yogurt" with milk. For several decades, his works lit up the Métro, his designs were unmissable. He died on October 31, 2002, in Trouville-sur-Mer, aged 94.

Gitanes is a brand of cigarettes produced by Seita, a subsidiary of the Imperial Brands group, created in 1910 at the same time as the Gauloises brand.
In 2014, part of its production was relocated to Poland following the closure of the Seita plant in Nantes.
The first Gitanes packages were designed in 1927 by Maurice Giot. This one represents Spanish symbols like the tambourine, a fan, and oranges.
