About the Item
Designed by the iconic poster artist Rene Gruau, this poster was created in 2000 to promote the Italian city of Rimini. The beautiful seaside resort city in northern Italy is ever popular with tourists and this wonderful design shows why.
Depicting a woman holding a bright yellow sun in the inviting blue ocean and sky, the trail of an aeroplane reads "Rimini" in the sky. The beautiful artwork is typical of Rene Gruau, who is perhaps best known for his collaborations with Moulin Rouge, Lido and Dior.
This iconic piece is in mint condition and backed on museum quality linen to ensure its conservation for the decades to come.
