About the Item
The first woman to win the Turner Prize, Rachel Whiteread is best known as a sculptor and was one of the artsists selected with a number of other celebrated UK artists to create designs for a series of posters depicting events at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Titled "LOndOn 2012", the design focuses on the circular shape of the iconic Olympic rings, using the famous Olympic colours in a stamp like effect across the body of the work. A beautiful design for the brilliantly entertaining Games.
