Set of 4 advertising posters of the company Continental from the 1970s. The Hanover-based company is still known for the production of tires for cars, two-wheelers and commercial vehicles. Founded about 150 years ago, Continental is still one of the leading companies in tire technology and production.
The 4 lithographs are a great piece of cultural history. All 4 poster designs are typical of the 1960s/70s. The psychedelic colors and shapes immerse you directly in the flower - power - hippie - age and reflect the graphic design of that time. On the other hand they represent the golden age of traffic and mobility.
