About the Item
An incredibly rare original Hungarian film poster for the 1916 silent drama The Black Butterfly. This film was directed by Burton L. King and starred Olga Petrova, Mahlon Hamilton and Tony Merlo. The poster was designed by the Hungarian artist Lipot Satori (1899-1943) and was previously in The Albertina Museum collection in Vienna.
This poster is conservation linen backed and would be shipped rolled in a strong tube.
