This Lobby card has been signed by James Stewart.
This lobby card was previously in the collection of a US collector, who obtained the signature in person at the Motion Picture retirement home in Los Angeles, run by the Academy, where he visited. Harvey is a classic James Stewart comedy-drama, based on Mary Chase's Pulitzer prize-winning play of the same name. It was directed by Henry Koster, and tells the story of a man whose best friend is a pooka (a mythology spirit able to take on the form of various animals). In this film Harvey is a 6' 3½" tall rabbit.
The film was directed by Henry Costner and stared James Stewart, Josephine Hull and Peggy Dow. The size given is before framing the framed size is 15 1/2 x 18 1/2 in. (39.4 x 47 cm).
