Original vintage travel poster, Fly by BOAC to the Far East, featuring a colourful illustration Maurice Laban (1912–1970) showing a green dragon against a purple and black shaded background with the text and blue and yellow stars above and below, the small print reading British Overseas Airways Corporation in association with Qantas Empire Airways Limited, South African Airways, Tasman Empire Airways Limited. (The British Overseas Airways Corporation or BOAC was the British state airline created in 1940-1946 as the result of a merger, merging again in 1971-1974 to create British Airways / BA.) Good condition, restored paper losses, restored tears, backed on linen.
