Original vintage art exhibition poster for the Recent Drawings by Steinberg held at Galerie Maeght Paris in April and May 1953 - Dessins recents de Steinberg - featuring an architectural illustration of a building resembling a train station with railway tracks in the foreground and a gentleman in a uniform saluting between two wheels above. The American artist Saul Steinberg (1914-1999) is best known for his work for The New Yorker most notably his View of the World from 9th Avenue (1976). Printed by Mourlot, Paris. Very good condition, minor creasing, small tears.
