Original vintage cruise ship travel poster designed by the notable Soviet artist Nikolai Zhukov (1908-1973) featuring a great image of an ocean liner sailing into the distance with the Intourist logo below and the bold red letters USSR at the top against the yellow background, a postcard over it addressed to the Intourist office on Fifth Avenue in New York USA reading: This is more than a pleasure trip it is a voyage into a new world! Formed in 1929 Интурист / Intourist was the state travel agency for foreign tourists visiting the Soviet Union. Fair condition, staining, creasing, tears, paper losses.
