About the Item
Original vintage London Electricity Board poster entitled The Power of London, Electricity featuring fantastic artwork from the painting by Ruskin Spear (1911-1990) showing Piccadilly Circus at night with people in the foreground and the Bovril and other advertising signs behind the statue of Eros lit up by the street lights. One of a series commissioned by the London Electricity Board (1948-1998) featuring work by various artists and produced by the Royal College of Art. Printed by the Baynard Press. Very good condition, faint creases in margins.
