Original vintage poster issued by the London Passenger Transport Board - It is better to Shop early Early in the month - by the notable British graphic artist, printmaker and art teacher Clifford Ellis (1907-1985) and his wife Rosemary Ellis (1910-1998) featuring a colourful collage design of hands, parcels, a balloon and other items with the stylised text diagonally above and below, and two birds above the artists' names on the side. Good condition, restored pinholes and minor loss, light staining on margins, backed on linen.
